Written by Tang Dynasty (618–907) poet Meng Jiao, it expresses a mother's selfless love. \nPresident Xi Jinping recited this poem at a Spring Festival reception in February 2015. Xi has long been an example of filial piety toward his parents. An undated photo of him walking hand-in-hand with his mother has warmed the hearts of many Chinese people.
